Job Summary

AVODHA is looking for a knowledgeable and motivated Medical Coding Tutor to train students in medical coding concepts, classification systems, and practical applications. The candidate should have a positive understanding of medical terminology and coding guidelines and be able to explain concepts clearly.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct theoretical and practical training sessions in medical coding.
- Teach ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems, as applicable.
- Explain medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and disease classification.
- Train students to review medical records and assign appropriate codes.
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, and practical assignments.
- Conduct assessments and monitor student progress.
- Clarify student doubts and provide constructive feedback.




- Keep training materials updated with relevant coding guidelines.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Allied Health Sciences, or a related healthcare field is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Understanding of medical coding systems and guidelines.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Previous medical coding or teaching experience is preferred.
- Relevant certification in medical coding is an advantage.
