: Fresher Certified Medical Coder

Position Title: Medical Coder Trainee / Certified Medical Coder (Fresher)

Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Certified Medical Coders to join our Medical Coding team. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing medical records and assigning accurate diagnostic and procedural codes using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems while maintaining productivity and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Review patient medical records and physician documentation.
- Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
- Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with client and regulatory guidelines.
- Identify and resolve coding edits and documentation gaps.
- Maintain quality and productivity benchmarks.
- Adhere to HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements.
- Participate in coding audits, training,



and continuous learning programs.
- Stay updated with coding guidelines and industry regulations.

Eligibility Criteria

- Any Life Science Graduate (B.Sc., B.Pharmacy, Pharm D, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Zoology, etc.) or Medical Graduate.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Certification from AAPC (CPC) and/or AHIMA (CCS)
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes.
- Valuable analytical and communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.

Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong learning aptitude and adaptability.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
