Mechanical Design Intern

Role summary

Responsible for supporting the design and development of plastic and mechanical components, tooling, molds, and manufacturing solutions. The role involves creating 3D models and 2D drawings, performing basic design and tolerance studies, supporting mold development, coordinating with manufacturing teams, and implementing design improvements based on production and quality feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

● Assist in designing and developing plastic and mechanical components based on product requirements.

● Create 3D models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings using software such as Creo, NX, and SolidWorks.

● Support the design and development of injection molds, dies, and related tooling.

● Understand product specifications, engineering drawings, and requirements and convert them into practical designs.

● Perform basic design calculations, tolerance studies, and fitment checks.

● Prepare detailed part, assembly, and mold drawings with appropriate dimensions and tolerances.





● Coordinate with Production, Tool Room, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.

● Make design modifications based on trial results, manufacturing feedback, and quality requirements.

● Maintain design documentation, revision records, BOMs, and drawing data.

Follow engineering standards, company design practices, and quality requirements.

6-Month Training & Evaluation Program

Selected candidates will undergo a 6-month structured training period.

During this period, candidates will work on practical assignments and gain exposure to real-world business operations under the guidance of the respective teams.

The training period is designed to help students transition from academic learning to practical industry experience.

● Overall contribution and performance The evaluation will be conducted throughout the training period rather than being based only on academic qualifications.

Training Program, Stipend & Post-Training CTC The training program provides candidates with practical industry exposure in their respective functional areas,



along with opportunities to work with multiple teams and gain hands-on experience in real-world projects.

● Training Period: Selected trainees will undergo a 6-month structured training program and will receive a monthly stipend of ₹15,000 throughout the training period.

● During the training period, candidates will be evaluated based on their technical skills, learning ability, initiative, responsibility, problem-solving skills, decision-making, task management, and overall contribution.

● Post-Training CTC: Upon successful completion of the 6-month training period, candidates may be offered a CTC ranging from ₹3–5 LPA, based on their overall performance, demonstrated skills, initiative, responsibility, and contribution during the training period.
