Role & responsibilities

Responsible for supporting the design and development of plastic and mechanical components, tooling, molds, and manufacturing solutions. The role involves creating 3D models and 2D drawings, performing basic design and tolerance studies, supporting mold development, coordinating with manufacturing teams, and implementing design improvements based on production and quality feedback.

Preferred candidate profile

- Assist in designing and developing plastic and mechanical components based on product requirements.
- Create 3D models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings using software such as Creo, NX, and SolidWorks.
- Support the design and development of injection molds, dies, and related tooling.
- Understand product specifications, engineering drawings, and requirements and convert them into practical designs.
- Perform basic design calculations, tolerance studies,



and fitment checks.
- Prepare detailed part, assembly, and mold drawings with appropriate dimensions and tolerances.
- Coordinate with Production, Tool Room, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
- Make design modifications based on trial results, manufacturing feedback, and quality requirements.
- Maintain design documentation, revision records, BOMs, and drawing data.
