Neelkanth Engineer Industries is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer to prepare designs and manufacturing drawings and support production.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Prepare 3D models and 2D fabrication and machining drawings as per customer requirements
- Design machine components, assemblies and fabricated structures
- Create and update BOMs and apply GD&T; and tolerances
- Carry out design calculations and select materials, bearings and standard parts
- Coordinate with production, quality and purchase teams to solve design issues on the shop floor
- Manage design changes, revisions and drawing documentation
- Support design for manufacturability (DFM) and cost optimization

Desired Candidate Profile:

- B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Hands-on experience in SolidWorks / AutoCAD
- Good knowledge of GD&T;, sheet metal, welding and machining processes
- Ability to read and make fabrication and machining drawings
- Good problem-solving and communication skills

Role : Design Engineer

Preferred candidate profile

- B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in design of EOT Cranes (Single Girder / Double Girder), Gantry Cranes,



Goliath Cranes or other material handling equipment
- Knowledge of crane components: girders, end carriages, cross travel (CT) and long travel (LT) mechanisms, hoist, drum, wire rope, hook block, gearbox, couplings and brakes
- Ability to do design calculations for girder, wheel load, hoist and travel drive, and motor selection as per IS 3177 / IS 807 / FEM / CMAA standards
- Hands-on experience in SolidWorks and AutoCAD for 3D modeling and 2D fabrication drawings
- Good knowledge of GD&T;, welding, sheet metal, fabrication and machining processes
- Experience in preparing GA drawings, BOM and fabrication drawings
- Positive problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to coordinate with production, quality and purchase teams
