Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Design Engineer with 5–6 years of hands-on experience in conveyor systems and material handling equipment. The candidate should have strong knowledge of mechanical design, fabrication drawings, conveyor components, and complete engineering documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop conveyor systems and material handling equipment as per project requirements.
- Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing/fabrication drawings and 3D models.
- Prepare GA drawings, assembly drawings, part drawings, and fabrication drawings.
- Design conveyor components such as frames, rollers, pulleys, shafts, brackets, supports, chutes, hoppers, guards, and drive arrangements.
- Perform basic design calculations for shafts, belts/chains, rollers, structures, and other mechanical components.
- Select suitable motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains, couplings, and other bought-out components.
- Prepare BOM, MTO, and material specifications.
- Coordinate with production, fabrication, purchase, project, and site teams for smooth execution of projects.
- Review drawings and ensure designs are suitable for manufacturing and site installation.
- Modify and update drawings based on client requirements and engineering changes.
- Resolve design and fabrication-related technical issues.




- Ensure drawings and designs comply with applicable engineering standards and company specifications.
- Support the team during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting whenever required.

Required Technical Skills
- Robust knowledge of conveyor system design and material handling equipment.
- Good understanding of mechanical engineering, fabrication, welding, and structural design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks / Inventor / Creo will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of GD&T;, engineering drawings, tolerances, fits, and material specifications.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and engineering documentation.
- Experience in preparing BOM, MTO, and fabrication drawings.

- 5–6 years of relevant hands-on design experience in the conveyor/material handling industry.
- Strong practical knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to independently handle design assignments from concept to manufacturing.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Candidate should be technically strong, responsible, and capable of working independently.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 per month
