Jane Aerospace Private

Bengaluru

READ THIS FIRST — THE DATES THAT CANNOT MOVE

- In-person interview: 20–30 November 2026, at our Bengaluru office. It cannot be done online.
- Applications close: 15 November 2026. We interview on a rolling basis and may close early once the position is filled.
- All online rounds complete by: 19 November 2026.
- Joining date: 1 December 2026. Non-negotiable.

You must be free of notice period obligations by 1 December. If you are currently serving a 60 or 90-day notice, the timing will not work and we cannot make an exception. Please do not apply — it saves us both the time. Please read this advertisement all the way to the end before you apply. It is long on purpose. It tells you exactly what the job is, what it is not, how we assess you and what we will not budge on. Applications from people who clearly have not read it are easy to spot, and we do not take them forward.

WHO WE ARE

Jane Aerospace is a Bengaluru-based aerospace and drone supply chain company. We source aircraft parts, drone components and industrial materials for operators, MROs and manufacturers — imported and locally procured — and we are building Supply Chain as a Service, a subscription model that takes over procurement for our clients entirely.

We operate three companies: Jane Aerospace Pvt Ltd (India), Jane Tech Labs Ltd (Hong Kong) and Jane Aero Tech Supply Chain FZCO (UAE). You would own the public face of all three.

We are bootstrapped. No outside funding, and none being sought. We are small, we move quickly, and people here own real things early.

THE ROLE

Almost everything Jane sells today is sold by someone picking up a phone. That works, but it does not compound, and it means every conversation starts from nothing. Few have heard of us before we call.

Your job is to change that. You would be our first marketing hire, and the mandate is visibility — constant, credible, specific — so that when a buyer at an MRO or a defence manufacturer picks up the phone to one of our BD associates, the name is already familiar and already trusted.

Inbound enquiries are a welcome second effect. They are not the first measure of success. Recognition is.

What you would own:

- The social and content presence of all three companies.
- What we publish, where, and in what voice — the creative and channel decisions are yours to make and to defend.
- Visibility beyond our own channels: podcasts, interviews, independent digital outlets, creators in the aerospace, drone, supply chain and manufacturing space.
- The production line itself — the repeatable process that turns one piece of work into a fortnight of output.

ONE THING WE WANT TO BE HONEST ABOUT. Positioning sits with the founder. Which markets we farm, what we sell and to whom — those decisions are made by the Managing Director and will be for some time. What is genuinely yours is how we show up: the angle, the format, the channel, the voice, the calendar, and the judgement about what is worth publishing at all. If you are already a strategist operating at company level, you will find that boundary frustrating. If you want to become one, you will be making real creative decisions from week one, with the person who makes the positioning decisions sitting a few feet away.

The second honest thing: a great deal of our best material needs the founder on camera or in the room. We have tiered the cadence below so that commitment is realistic rather than aspirational, but you will have to chase him, and chasing him is part of the job rather than evidence that it is going badly.

HOW THE CONTENT ACTUALLY WORKS

One substantial piece of work per brand, broken down into everything else. We are not asking one person to invent nine separate content streams — we are asking for a production line.

- LinkedIn — the core channel. Posts, articles, case notes, founder commentary. This is where aerospace and defence procurement buyers actually are.
- YouTube — long-form. Founder explainers, field reports, teardowns, customer problem walkthroughs, podcast and interview appearances. This is the source asset; everything else is cut from it.
- Instagram — short-form, derived from the long-form. Clips, stills, carousels. Reach and recognition rather than direct buying intent.

Cadence is tiered by company, because they are not equally busy:

- Jane Aerospace Pvt Ltd (India) — long-form weekly, with derivatives across the week.

- Jane Tech Labs Ltd (Hong Kong) — long-form monthly, with derivatives across the month.
- Jane Aero Tech Supply Chain FZCO (UAE) — long-form monthly, with derivatives across the month.

Each company keeps its own identity and its own audience. They are not one brand with three logos, and the voice for a Hong Kong trading entity is not the voice for an Indian supply chain business. Where the material comes from. You will not be inventing content out of nothing. Jane generates it every week as a by-product of doing the work — a part sourced against an impossible deadline, a field report on a drone engine, a customs problem solved, a supply chain that failed and why. The single most valuable thing you can do here is see the story in that, get it out of the people who did it, strip out anything that identifies a client, and publish it.

Generic marketing content does not move an aerospace buyer. Specific, technical, evidently-real content does. That is the whole strategy, and everything else is delivery.

WHERE THIS ROLE GOES

Within about six months we expect to have AI agents doing the repetitive end of this work — cutting the derivatives, drafting the first version, scheduling, monitoring. We are telling you this in the advertisement for two reasons.

First, so you understand what we are optimising for: we do not need someone whose value is raw output volume, because that part is going away. We need someone who can define a process clearly enough to hand it over, judge what comes back, and hold a consistent voice across three brands without writing every word of it.

Second, because it is the interesting part of the job. You would be among the first marketers anywhere to run three brands with a team of agents rather than a team of juniors. If that is attractive to you, say so in your application.

If the programme outgrows one person, we will hire more people. The plan is not to grind one person into the ground.

WHAT YOU WILL ACTUALLY DO

- Own and publish to the content calendar across three companies and three platforms, consistently. Consistency beats brilliance here — a dead company page reads as a dying company.
- Write. Posts, articles, case notes, scripts, email campaigns, landing page copy — in an engineering-credible voice, for people who buy industrial components for a living.
- Run the founder's content programme: shaping the narrative, drafting, and turning what happens inside the business into things worth reading and watching.
- Extract and sanitise stories from live work — interviewing the BD and sourcing teams, and making sure nothing published exposes a client, a supplier or a price.
- Pursue visibility beyond our channels: build the list, pitch the angle, chase the podcast, the interview and the independent outlet. Small and frequent beats big and never.
- Brief the designer properly, in writing, so their video and graphic work does not need three rounds of clarification.
- Build our employer brand. We are hiring seven people right now and will hire more.
- Report with numbers on what is working, and be willing to kill what is not.
- From roughly month four, define and supervise the AI agents that take over the repetitive production work.

WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT

- It is not company positioning or pricing. Those sit with the Managing Director.
- It is not a design or video editing job. We have a designer for production — though being able to cut a rough clip yourself will make you faster.
- It is not performance marketing. We are not running paid acquisition at this stage, and if we do it will be a separate decision.
- It is not an agency-management role. You do the work; you do not brief it out and report on it.

Requirements

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- 1 to 3 years in marketing, ideally B2B. This is not a fresher role.
- MANDATORY — writing samples with your name on them: published work, a portfolio, a newsletter, anything real. An application without them will not be reviewed.
- You can genuinely write: clear, specific, no filler.

This remains the single most important requirement.
- Evidence of a creative idea that was yours. Not a campaign you were on — an angle, a format or a hook you came up with and can explain the thinking behind.
- A working understanding of how reach actually behaves on LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram, and of how the three differ.
- Comfort with AI tools, and the judgement to know when their output is not good enough. We use them here and we expect you to.
- You can brief a designer and judge creative work without needing to make it yourself.
- You publish something imperfect on schedule rather than something perfect late.
- Curiosity about an unglamorous technical industry. If aircraft parts and customs paperwork sound boring to you, you will struggle to make them interesting to anyone else.

NICE TO HAVE, NOT REQUIRED

- B2B, industrial, manufacturing, logistics, aerospace or deep-tech experience. Consumer-only social is a weaker fit for this audience.
- Any earned media at all — a placement you landed, a podcast you booked, a journalist who takes your call.
- Founder-led content experience.
- Basic self-serve editing, so the designer is not a bottleneck on every post.
- Having built any kind of repeatable content system, however small.

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF We mean this sincerely — it saves everyone time.

- You cannot attend an in-person interview in Bengaluru between 20 and 30 November 2026.
- You cannot join on 1 December 2026, for any reason, including notice period.
- You are not in Bengaluru and are not willing to relocate here at your own arrangement before joining.
- You are looking for a work-from-home or hybrid role. This is fully work from office.
- Your portfolio is follower counts and engagement rates with no link to reputation or pipeline.
- You have only worked in an agency, on accounts whose outcome you did not own.
- You need an established brand and a large budget to be effective.
- Writing is not your strength.
- You want to own positioning and strategy at company level from day one.

Benefits

WHAT YOU GET PAID Rs 40,000 to Rs 45,000 per month CTC (Rs 4.8–5.4 lakh per annum), depending on experience and on what you demonstrate in the assessment. CTC means cost to company; your in-hand figure will be lower after statutory deductions, and we will show you the exact breakdown at offer stage.

- Compensation reviewed formally at six months and at twelve months, against evidence.
- A real budget for the tools you need, including AI tools. We do not expect you to pay for your own software.
- PF and ESI as per statute.

The real compensation at this stage is the exposure: three brands, full ownership of the public face of the group, direct access to the founder every day, and a seat at the front of how marketing work is actually changing. At one to three years, very few roles offer that.

OUR HIRING PROCESS

Four rounds. We have deliberately kept the unpaid work small.

1. Application — short questions, your CV, and your writing samples. The samples are mandatory.
2. Assessment — timed, online. Creative judgement, channel thinking, and one short practical brief — around 45 minutes of writing, not a weekend project.
3. Video interview — recorded, online. You talk us through your own assessment answers and the thinking behind them.
4. In-person with the Managing Director — at our Bengaluru office, 20–30 November.

ON AI: use it. We do, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest about how this job is done. But the assessment is built so that generic AI output scores badly, and in round three you will be asked to account for your own thinking. Work you cannot explain is worth nothing to us. All online rounds complete by 19 November. In-person interviews run 20–30 November. We make offers on a rolling basis — if you are solid, you will hear from us quickly.

HOW TO APPLY

One last time: if you have skipped to this section, go back and read the rest. The answers to most of what you are about to be asked are above.

Apply through the link on this posting and answer the application questions in full. Attach your CV, your writing samples, and a short covering note in your own words. We read the notes, and the ones with a real voice get read twice.
