Marketing Executive cum Admission Counsellor

Job Summary

We are looking for a agile, enthusiastic, and result-oriented Marketing Executive cum Admission Counsellor to support student recruitment, university marketing, and admission activities. The candidate will be responsible for promoting the university's academic programmes, counselling prospective students and parents, generating admission enquiries, and converting leads into confirmed admissions.

Key Responsibilities

- Promote the university and its academic programmes through various marketing channels.
- Generate admission leads through field visits, school and college outreach, educational fairs, digital platforms, and other promotional activities.
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses, eligibility criteria, admission procedures, fee structures, career opportunities, and placement prospects.
- Handle incoming admission enquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, and walk-in visits.
- Follow up with prospective students regularly to convert enquiries into successful admissions.
- Coordinate the complete admission process, including application forms, document verification, and admission confirmation.
- Build and maintain relationships with schools, colleges, educational consultants, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct promotional activities, seminars, presentations, and student awareness programmes.
- Maintain admission enquiry records,



lead databases, follow-up reports, and daily or weekly admission updates.
- Achieve assigned admission targets and contribute to the overall student enrolment goals of the university.
- Coordinate with the admission department and university management to ensure smooth admission operations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Graduate in any discipline; an MBA in Marketing or a related field will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, counselling, and presentation skills.
- Good convincing, negotiation, and student relationship management abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office, email, and data management.
- Ability to conduct field marketing activities and travel locally as required.
- A target-oriented approach with strong follow-up and lead conversion skills.
- Prior experience in educational marketing, university admissions, or student counselling will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be confident, proactive, well-organised, and passionate about helping students choose the right academic programmes. The candidate must be comfortable handling admission targets, interacting with students and parents, and participating in both field-based and office-based marketing activities. Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
