We are seeking an experienced Packing and Dispatch Manager to oversee our plant's end-to-end outbound logistics. You will be responsible for managing finished goods inventory, enforcing strict industrial packing standards, and leading dispatch operations to ensure safe, cost-effective, and on-time delivery to customers. The ideal candidate will have robust leadership skills a deep understanding of shop-floor operations
Key responsibilities:-
- Packing & Quality Standards: Enforce industrial packing guidelines tailored to product specifications to prevent damage during transit.
- Finished Goods Coordination: Work closely with Production and QA teams to inspect, verify, and accept finished goods into the dispatch bay.
- Dispatch & Route Scheduling: Plan daily dispatch timelines and optimize vehicle loading sequences to maximize payload and reduce freight costs.
- Logistics Management: Coordinate with third-party logistics providers and transport contractors to secure reliable vehicle placement.
- Documentation & Compliance:
Generate and verify crucial shipping documents, including Tax Invoices, Delivery Challans, Packing Lists, and E-Way Bills.
- Inventory & Stock Reconciliation: Oversee packaging material inventory and conduct regular physical stock audits to reconcile warehouse data with the ERP system.
- Team Supervision: Lead, train, and manage a shift team of dispatch executives, packing staff, loaders, and forklift operators.
- Shop-Floor Safety & 5S: Implement strict workplace safety protocols, enforce PPE usage, and maintain 5S organization standards across all dispatch areas.
Desired Candidate Profile:-
- Graduate
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in packing, dispatch and warehouse management (preferably in manufacturing)
- Good communication skills
- Local candidate preferred
