Job Summary

Nissin ABC Logistics Private Limited is looking for an experienced professional to lead and grow its Full Truck Load (FTL) business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, improving gross profit margins, developing customer relationships, acquiring new business and managing team performance.

The role requires strong business development, commercial management, customer relationship and leadership skills, along with the ability to improve operational processes and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Growth and Financial Performance

- Drive revenue growth and achieve assigned sales and business targets for the FTL business.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase market presence.
- Focus on improving gross profit margins (GP%) through effective commercial planning and business decisions.
- Monitor business performance against targets and implement corrective actions where required.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers and business opportunities.

2. Business Development and Customer Relationship Management

- Identify, approach and acquire new customers for FTL transportation services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to improve retention and repeat business.
- Understand customer transportation requirements and coordinate with relevant internal teams to develop suitable solutions.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and address service-related concerns in coordination with operations.
- Support long-term customer relationships through regular engagement and follow-ups.

3. Team Leadership and Development

- Lead, guide and mentor the team to achieve business and performance objectives.
- Monitor team productivity and support individual performance improvement.
- Identify training needs and ensure appropriate development initiatives.




- Maintain a positive work environment and support employee retention.
- Monitor team performance reports and ensure timely submission of required reports.

4. Strategic Planning and Execution

- Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with management objectives.
- Propose at least 10 recent business development ideas to support business growth.
- Identify at least 5 opportunities to improve business processes through digitalisation.
- Monitor outstanding payments (OS) through regular review meetings and follow-ups to reduce overdue amounts.
- Track the progress of business initiatives and provide periodic updates to management.

5. Operational Efficiency and Process Management

- Ensure implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) across relevant business activities.
- Identify opportunities to optimise processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with internal teams to maintain service quality and meet customer requirements.
- Ensure required SOP training is conducted and training effectiveness is evaluated.
- Support compliance with internal process requirements and quality standards.

Educational Qualification and Experience

- MBA / PGDM preferred.
- 10+ years of professional experience, preferably in transportation, logistics, FTL business development or a related field.
- Relevant experience in managing business growth, customer relationships and team performance is preferred.
