1. Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment and machinery.

2. Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement corrective actions to minimize equipment downtime.

3. Maintain and service pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, conveyors, valves, and other plant equipment.

4. Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency and reliability.

5. Prepare and maintain maintenance schedules, equipment history records, and technical documentation.

6. Coordinate with production, quality, and other departments to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.

7. Supervise mechanical repair, installation, commissioning, and modification activities.

8. Ensure compliance with safety procedures, engineering standards, and statutory requirements.

Coordinate with vendors and contractors for equipment servicing, spare parts, and maintenance activities.

10. Monitor spare parts inventory and ensure the availability of critical mechanical components.

11. Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.

12. Identify opportunities to reduce maintenance costs and improve equipment performance.

13. Ensure proper implementation of 5S, workplace safety, and positive engineering practices.

14. Prepare maintenance reports and provide updates on equipment breakdowns, repair activities, and performance.

15. Support internal audits and ensure compliance with applicable plant procedures and documentation requirements.
