Key Responsibilities:

- Preventive Maintenance: Assist in carrying out preventive and periodic maintenance of machines and equipment as per the maintenance schedule.

1. Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and machine elements.
- Understanding of bearings, gears, couplings, shafts, belts, chains, and lubrication systems.
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
- Basic knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Excel and maintenance reporting.
- Good communication, teamwork, observation, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts and attend emergency breakdowns, as per company requirements.

1. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Completion of preventive maintenance schedules within the prescribed timeline.
- Reduction in machine breakdown frequency and downtime.
- Timely completion of maintenance activities.
- Accuracy of maintenance records and reports.
- Compliance with safety procedures.
- Effective utilization of maintenance spares and resources.

1. Preferred Candidate Profile

- Fresher with a Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
- Interest in industrial machinery, mechanical maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Positive attitude, discipline, willingness to learn, and readiness to work in a heavy engineering manufacturing setting.

Note: The candidate will initially work under the supervision of senior maintenance personnel and will be trained in company-specific machinery, maintenance practices, and safety procedures.

- Breakdown Maintenance:



Support the maintenance team in identifying mechanical faults and attending to machine breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Machinery Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance of CNC machines, conventional machines, fabrication equipment, material handling equipment, pumps, compressors, and other plant machinery, as applicable.
- Inspection and Troubleshooting: Inspect machine components, identify abnormal noise, vibration, overheating, leakage, and other mechanical issues, and report findings to seniors.
- Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems: Assist in the inspection and maintenance of hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves, pneumatic systems, and related components.
- Lubrication Management: Ensure proper lubrication of machinery and maintain lubrication schedules and records.
- Maintenance Documentation: Maintain machine history cards, preventive maintenance checklists, breakdown reports, spare parts records, and daily maintenance logs.
- Spare Parts Management: Assist in identifying maintenance spare parts, monitoring stock availability, and coordinating with the stores department for required materials.
- Safety Compliance: Follow plant safety procedures, use appropriate PPE, and ensure that maintenance work is carried out under authorized isolation and lockout/tagout procedures wherever applicable.
- Coordination: Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, and other departments to plan and execute maintenance activities with minimum production disruption.
- Continuous Improvement: Suggest improvements to reduce machine breakdowns, improve equipment reliability, and minimize maintenance costs.
- Learning and Development: Learn machine operation and maintenance procedures under the guidance of experienced maintenance engineers and technicians.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
