Job Summary Responsible for supervising CNC and VMC machine shop operations, supporting programming and machine settings, allocating manpower, and achieving production schedules. Ensure adherence to quality, safety and documentation requirements under ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily CNC and VMC operations to achieve production, quality and delivery targets.

Support CNC and VMC programming, program editing and basic troubleshooting.

Modify programs to meet approved drawing revisions, product changes and process requirements.

Complete machine settings and changeovers within the planned time.

Select suitable cutting tools, inserts and machining parameters according to material and component specifications.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances and GD&T; requirements.





Ensure production follows approved Control Plans, process sheets and work instructions.

Conduct and verify first-off, in-process and final inspections as defined in the Control Plan.

Monitor rejection and rework, identify causes and implement corrective actions.

Monitor OEE, downtime, cycle time and tool life, and implement improvements.

Track production schedule versus actual output and take action to recover shortfalls.

Prepare corrective and preventive action (CAPA) reports for production schedule failures and monitor action closure.

Allocate shift manpower according to production priorities and operator skills.

Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Planning and Tooling teams to resolve production issues.

Maintain production, inspection, downtime and traceability records required under ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.

Support NPD trials, prove-outs and the transfer of approved processes to regular production.

Implement 5S, Kaizen and secure working practices throughout the machine shop.
