Operations Manager Logistics (Sea Freight Focus)

Work Mode: Work from Home (WFH)

Working days: Monday- Saturday

Timing: 9 am -6 pm

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end sea-freight operations, from receiving and reviewing leads or shipment requirements to final delivery.
- Coordinate with customers, shipping lines, freight partners, transporters, customs brokers and other service providers.
- Handle shipment planning, booking coordination, documentation, cargo movement, tracking and delivery follow-up.
- Coordinate customs clearance and ensure required shipping documents are collected, checked and processed on time.
- Monitor shipment schedules, transit updates, delays and operational issues; take timely action to resolve them.
- Keep customers informed about shipment status, documentation requirements, timelines and any changes.
- Coordinate air-freight shipments when required and support smooth movement across the logistics process.
- Follow up on quotations, operational costs, vendor charges, invoices and payment-related coordination as applicable.




- Maintain shipment records and ensure accurate documentation and timely updates.
- Take ownership of daily operations and ensure shipments are handled efficiently from start to finish.

Required Experience

- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding or a related industry.
- Robust practical experience in sea-freight operations is essential.
- Experience in air-freight operations will be an added advantage.
- Candidates should be comfortable independently handling complete shipment operations and coordinating with multiple parties.

Education & Skills No specific educational qualification is required. The priority is hands-on industry experience and the ability to manage logistics operations independently.
