Job Title: Linux System Administrator (with DevOps Skills)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Linux System Administrator with DevOps expertise to manage, maintain, and optimize our infrastructure. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in dynamic environments, handling both UAT and production systems, and ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer, monitor, and maintain Linux-based servers and systems
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and/or Bash
- Configure, manage, and optimize NGINX web servers and reverse proxy setups
- Troubleshoot system, application, and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime
- Implement and follow system hardening and infrastructure best practices
- Manage and support UAT and Production environments, including deployments and releases
- Work with Git/GitLab for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and collaboration
- Configure and manage DNS records and SSL/TLS certificates
- Deploy, manage, and analyze logs using the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch,



Logstash, Kibana)
- Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure smooth operations

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS/RHEL)
- Proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting
- Experience in NGINX server configuration and performance tuning
- Experience in Syslog-ng parsing.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, DNS, and SSL/TLS
- Experience with Git and GitLab workflows
- Knowledge of ELK stack for logging and monitoring
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Good to Have

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance requirements
