We are looking for a skilled professional to develop and validate life insurance actuarial models, deliver client-focused solutions and drive transformation and automation initiatives across global insurance markets.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain actuarial models for life insurance products, with a focus on international markets, particularly the US.
- Work on PathWise modeling and support actuarial modeling, data handling and experience analysis.
- Build and validate Benefit Illustration models for life insurance products.
- Perform UAT, unit testing, regression testing and other actuarial model testing and validation activities.
- Interact regularly with clients to understand business requirements, identify problem areas and translate them into effective actuarial solutions.
- Support transformation, process automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze actuarial data and deliver accurate, reliable and business-focused modeling solutions.
- Contribute to new business development by identifying client pain points and recommending suitable solutions.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders while ensuring effective communication across teams and clients.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, protection guidelines and applicable quality standards.

Requirements

- 5–10 years of experience in Life Insurance and actuarial modeling.




- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science or a related field.
- Affiliation with IAI, SOA or IFoA, with 4–12 actuarial exams passed.
- Good exposure to PathWise modeling.
- Strong understanding of life insurance products, actuarial concepts and model testing and validation.
- Knowledge of US life insurance products and Benefit Illustrations is preferred.
- Experience working with international markets, particularly the US; Indian life insurance market exposure is also preferred.
- Familiarity with actuarial modeling tools such as Polysystem, MG-ALFA, GGY AXIS, Prophet or other actuarial software is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of SQL, Python or R is desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment and collaborate with cross-cultural teams.
