Job Title: Legal Manager (Land and Real Estate)

Department: Legal - Land Aggregation outside city limits TN/ AP

Reporting To: Managing Director

Job Summary:

The Legal Manager will own legal due diligence and documentation for land and leasing transactions. The role covers title investigation, approvals, regulatory compliance, and contract drafting, and supervises external advocates on matters requiring outside counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead title investigation and due diligence on land and property transactions.
- Deal with Registration and revenue departments
- Review and draft sale deeds, lease deeds, development agreements, and JV agreements.
- Advise on land-use conversion, approvals, and regulatory compliance with CMDA, DTCP, and local bodies.
- Manage encumbrance clearance and land-related disputes.
- Supervise external advocates and registration processes.
- Advise management on legal risk across projects and transactions.
- Maintain a register of legal documents and ongoing matters

Qualifications & Experience:





- LLB and enrolment with the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu.
- 8+ years of practice, with at least 5 years focused on land and real estate law.
- Deep knowledge of the Transfer of Property Act, Registration Act, Tamil Nadu land revenue law, and RERA.
- Experience drafting and negotiating real estate transaction documents.
