Key Role & Responsibilities:

· The Lecturer will be responsible for developing students' professional knowledge, technical competencies, communication skills, guest-handling abilities and managerial capabilities in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and the standards expected of the hospitality industry.

· The lecturer shall be responsible for preparing lesson plans, teaching schedules, presentations, learning materials, case studies and practical exercises, and integrate current hospitality industry practices, service standards, technology and real-world hotel case studies into classroom teaching.

· Familiarise students with Property Management Systems (PMS), front office software,



reservation platforms and other relevant hospitality technology.

· Undertake other academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the Principal or competent authority.

Educational Qualification

· A Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management

· Master degree in Hospitality/Hotel/Tourism Management preferred

Experience& Skills:

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in the Front Office section of the Rooms Division Department

· Sound knowledge of Front Office Operations and Front Office Management.

· Practical understanding of hotel reception, reservations, guest relations, cashiering and front office supervision.

· Familiarity with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and hospitality technology.
