We are currently hiring an experienced Lead Landscape Architect for one of our established architectural and design consulting clients based in Navi Mumbai.

Role Description

We are looking for a creative, technically proficient and experienced Lead Landscape Architect to manage landscape design projects and lead a team of landscape architects and designers.

The role involves conceptualising, planning, designing and overseeing the development of aesthetically appealing, functional and environmentally sustainable outdoor spaces across residential, commercial, institutional and mixed-use developments.

The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end landscape design delivery, multidisciplinary coordination, client management, technical quality and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Landscape Design & Development

- Lead landscape design projects from conceptualisation and master planning through detailed design and execution documentation.
- Develop landscape layouts, planting plans, hardscape and softscape designs, grading plans and construction details.
- Prepare and review design drawings, presentations, specifications and technical documentation.
- Incorporate sustainability, biodiversity,



environmental conservation and ecological considerations into landscape solutions.
- Ensure design quality, functionality, aesthetics and constructability.

Project Management & Coordination

- Manage project deliverables, design schedules and timelines.
- Conduct site surveys, assessments and feasibility studies.
- Coordinate with architects, urban planners, civil engineers, MEP consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Review technical drawings, material specifications, cost estimates and project documentation.
- Provide technical support during site execution and resolve design-related challenges.

Team Leadership

- Lead, mentor and guide landscape architects and designers.
- Allocate work, review design outputs and monitor team performance.
- Ensure adherence to design standards, technical specifications and project timelines.
- Promote collaboration, technical excellence and continuous improvement within the team.

Client & Stakeholder Management

- Understand client requirements and translate them into innovative and practical landscape design solutions.
- Present design concepts, proposals and technical recommendations to clients.
- Manage client communication, design reviews, approvals and feedback.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities and external stakeholders wherever required.

Qualifications & Experience





- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline from a recognised institution.
- Landscape Institute (LI) accreditation or an equivalent recognised professional qualification will be an added advantage.
- 5–10+ years of relevant experience in landscape architecture, preferably with an architectural or multidisciplinary design consultancy.
- Proven experience in managing landscape projects independently and leading design teams.
- Strong understanding of planting design, horticulture, hardscape materials, landscape construction and sustainable design practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and relevant design and visualisation software.
- Experience in residential, commercial, institutional, township or large-scale mixed-use developments will be preferred.
