About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on and commercially focused Lead India Contract Staffing professional with strong experience in IT Contract Staffing, Staff Augmentation, Contract-to-Hire, MSP/VMS, and Enterprise Technology Hiring.This role combines Individual Contributor (IC) responsibilities with team leadership and recruitment delivery management. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of staffing experience, including a minimum of 2 years as a Team Lead or Delivery Lead.The selected candidate will be responsible for personally driving critical recruitment closures, leading recruiters, managing multiple enterprise staffing requirements, ensuring delivery against defined SLAs, and contributing to revenue growth and account expansion.The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on recruitment expertise, proven leadership capabilities, an understanding of enterprise technology hiring, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end recruitment delivery for IT Contract Staffing, Contract-to-Hire, and Staff Augmentation requirements across India.
- Personally source, screen, engage, and close candidates for critical, niche, and priority technology positions.
- Lead, mentor, and guide recruiters and senior recruiters to achieve hiring targets and delivery commitments.
- Monitor recruiter productivity, candidate pipeline quality, submission ratios, closure rates, and successful joining metrics.
- Conduct regular delivery reviews, pipeline discussions, and performance assessments to ensure timely fulfilment of requirements.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, Monster, referrals, databases, and professional networks.
- Understand technical job descriptions and guide recruiters in identifying suitable candidates across enterprise technology practices.
- Coordinate with Account Managers, Business Leaders, Hiring Managers, and internal stakeholders to understand hiring priorities and delivery expectations.
- Manage multiple enterprise staffing requirements while ensuring recruitment quality, turnaround times, and SLA compliance.




- Handle candidate engagement, interview coordination, offer negotiations, counteroffers, and joining-related discussions.
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for recurring, niche, and urgent hiring requirements.
- Identify delivery challenges, resolve escalations, and implement sourcing strategies to improve recruitment outcomes.
- Support account mining, account harvesting, and staffing expansion opportunities in collaboration with Sales and Account Management teams.
- Contribute to revenue targets, account growth, staffing forecasts, and gross margin objectives for assigned engagements.
- Maintain accurate recruitment trackers, ATS records, delivery reports, and recruitment performance dashboards.

Technology Hiring Exposure Experience hiring across some of the following technology areas will be an advantage:
- Enterprise Applications: SAP, Oracle ERP, Oracle EBS, and JD Edwards.
- CRM and Enterprise Platforms: Salesforce and ServiceNow.
- Artificial Intelligence: AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and AI Engineering.
- Data Technologies: Data Engineering, Data Platforms, and Analytics.
- Cloud Technologies: AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- DevOps and Infrastructure: DevOps, Cloud Engineering, and Platform Engineering.
- Cybersecurity: Security and related technology roles.
- Digital Engineering: Software Development, Product Engineering, and other digital technology practices.

The candidate should have hands-on recruitment experience in relevant technology domains and the ability to understand technical requirements, guide recruiters, and drive successful hiring closures.

Requirements

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT Staffing, Contract Staffing, or Staff Augmentation.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Team Lead or Delivery Lead is mandatory.
- Proven experience performing hands-on recruitment while leading a team.
- Strong experience in India Contract Staffing, Contract-to-Hire, and Project-Based Staffing.
- Experience supporting enterprise customers, consulting organizations, or large technology services companies.
- Exposure to MSP/VMS programs and enterprise staffing engagements.
- Strong sourcing expertise using LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, Monster, and other recruitment platforms.
- Good understanding of technical job descriptions, enterprise technology hiring, and the Indian IT talent market.
- Experience managing multiple recruitment requirements, recruiters, and delivery priorities simultaneously.




- Ability to monitor recruitment metrics, improve recruiter productivity, and meet delivery SLAs.
- Exposure to account growth, revenue generation, account expansion, or commercial staffing objectives.
- Strong communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and escalation-handling skills.
- Ability to work in a quick-paced, target-driven, and deadline-oriented environment.

The role involves:

- Hands-on sourcing, screening, candidate engagement, and recruitment closures.
- Leading and mentoring recruiters to achieve hiring targets.
- Managing recruitment delivery, SLAs, and performance metrics.
- Coordinating with enterprise stakeholders and internal account teams.
- Contributing to revenue growth and account expansion initiatives.

Unlike a purely managerial role, this position requires active individual recruitment delivery alongside team leadership.

Preferred Background

Candidates from IT Staffing, India Contract Staffing, Staff Augmentation, Recruitment Consulting, MSP/VMS environments, Technology Services, IT Consulting, or Enterprise Technology Hiring environments are preferred.Experience supporting organizations such as Deloitte, LTI Mindtree, ITC Infotech, Zensar Technologies, UST, Accenture, or similar Global System Integrators (GSIs) and consulting organizations will be an advantage.Experience with enterprise customers, large-scale staffing engagements, and multiple technology practices will be preferred.
