SAP CPI Integration Consultant

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP CPI / Integration Suite Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in designing and developing integrations involving SAP SuccessFactors and third-party applications. Important: Candidates must have demonstrated project experience using SAP CPI / Integration Suite to integrate SAP SuccessFactors with external/third-party systems. General CPI experience or SuccessFactors exposure without hands-on SF integration experience will not be sufficient.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions using SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) / SAP Integration Suite.
- Build and support SuccessFactors-to-third-party integrations through SAP CPI, including cloud and on-premise applications.
- Develop integrations involving SAP SuccessFactors, SAP S/4HANA, payroll/HR applications, and other enterprise systems.
- Develop and consume APIs and web services using REST, SOAP, OData, SFTP and other relevant adapters/protocols.
- Perform data transformation and mapping using XML, JSON, message mapping, XSLT and Groovy scripting.
- Configure error handling, exception management, monitoring, logging, reprocessing, and security mechanisms.
- Manage the complete integration lifecycle including requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting and production support.
- Work with functional, business and technical teams to understand SuccessFactors integration requirements and translate them into scalable CPI solutions.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

- Strong hands-on SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite experience.




- Mandatory hands-on experience integrating SAP SuccessFactors with third-party/external applications using CPI.
- Candidates should be able to demonstrate actual SuccessFactors integration scenarios/projects, rather than only listing SuccessFactors as a technology or project environment.
- Strong experience with REST, SOAP, OData/APIs, SFTP, XML and JSON.
- Robust knowledge of iFlow development, message mapping, Groovy scripting, exception handling and monitoring.
- Experience with integration testing, deployment, troubleshooting and production support.
- Experience with security mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, certificates and secure connectivity.
- Good requirements gathering, technical documentation and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills

- SAP Integration Suite / CPI certification.
- Experience with SAP API Management.
- SAP BTP and Cloud Connector exposure.
- Event-driven integration / Event Mesh experience.
- Experience integrating SuccessFactors with Payroll, HR, benefits, identity management or other external enterprise applications.
