A Lab Technician at a metal powder company plays a crucial role in Quality Control (QC) and R&D.; As a Candidate with a BSc in Chemistry, your primary focus will be on testing raw materials, analyzing metal powder specifications, and ensuring product compliance.

Required Qualifications

Education: B.Sc. in Chemistry (or Materials Science/Industrial Chemistry).

Experience: Fresher (0 to 1 years).

Key Skills Required:

Strong foundation in analytical chemistry (titration, gravimetric analysis).

Valuable academic record (typically 60% and above).

Basic knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and chemical handling.

Key Job Responsibilities

Sample Testing:

Collect and prepare metal powder samples for analysis.

Quality Assurance:





Test physical and chemical properties (e.g., particle size, moisture content, tap density, and chemical purity) to ensure they meet manufacturing standards.

Equipment Calibration:

Assist in preparing chemical solutions/reagents and maintaining laboratory equipment (e.g., spectrophotometers, balances, furnaces).

Documentation: Accurately log test results, create analytical reports, and maintain laboratory inventory.
