Role purpose Design practical, compact and reliable mechanical parts and assemblies that allow CountAI’s cameras and inspection hardware to fit safely and accurately onto circular knitting machines. You will turn a real machine-side problem into a clear concept, a manufacturable design and a tested installation—quickly, with minimal design iterations.

What you will do Create 3D parts, assemblies and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks. Design sheet-metal brackets, camera enclosures, mounting plates, covers and cable-management features. Visit or study knitting machines to understand available space, motion, vibration, access, operator safety and maintenance needs. Quickly develop concepts for camera positioning, field of view, lighting clearance and repeatable alignment; work with electronics and computer-vision teams on requirements. Check fit, clearances, fasteners, service access, assembly sequence and interference before releasing designs. Choose practical materials, thicknesses, bends, fasteners and finishes based on cost, strength, environment and manufacturing capability. Work with sheet-metal fabricators, machinists and vendors; clarify drawings and incorporate manufacturing feedback. Build prototypes, test fit on the machine, capture issues and improve the design based on evidence. Maintain revision control, BOMs,



drawings and clear design documentation. Required skills SolidWorks: confident part modelling, assemblies, mates, drawings and basic design-for-manufacture. Sheet metal: flanges, bends, reliefs, flat patterns, bend allowance awareness and manufacturable detailing. Good spatial reasoning: can look at a machine or a photo, understand constraints and propose a practical mounting concept. Working knowledge of dimensions, tolerances, fasteners, materials and basic mechanical strength. Able to take ownership, ask useful questions, work fast and verify the physical fit instead of relying only on CAD. Transparent communication and willingness to collaborate with electrical, software, service and manufacturing teams. Good to have Experience with industrial machinery, machine enclosures, camera/sensor mounts, automation equipment or retrofit projects. Experience with vibration, dust/oil exposure, guarding, cable routing, quick-adjustment features and serviceability. Basic GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, sheet-metal vendor coordination and prototype testing.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
