Working Days: Monday to Friday (Saturday and Sunday off)

Role Overview

As a Junior Freight Broker, you will support the brokerage team in finding customers, booking carriers and managing shipments. You'll get full training on US freight brokerage, load boards and company processes, and work under the guidance of senior brokers and team leaders. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong communication skills who wants to grow in a sales-driven role.

Key Responsibilities

- Make outbound calls and send emails to potential shippers to generate new business
- Find and book reliable carriers using load boards (DAT, Truckstop, etc.)
- Negotiate rates with carriers and shippers, with support from senior brokers
- Track shipments from pickup to delivery and keep customers updated
- Make follow-up calls with carriers and drivers for load status and delivery updates
- Keep load details and documents updated correctly in the TMS/CRM




- Help resolve basic delays and service issues
- Make sure carrier details and documents are checked and complete
- Meet daily call and load targets set by the Team Leader
- Learn and follow company processes, SOPs and compliance standards

Requirements
- 0–2 years of experience in US logistics, freight brokerage, international BPO or sales. Freshers are welcome.
- Excellent English communication skills, spoken and written
- Valuable confidence and comfort speaking with US clients over the phone
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel / Google Sheets, email)
- Target-oriented and able to work under pressure
- Comfortable working night shifts on a fixed basis
- Based in or willing to relocate to Mohali / Chandigarh Tricity

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in an international voice process or US sales
- Basic knowledge of US freight terms (FTL, LTL, dry van, reefer, flatbed)
- A graduate degree in any field
