Key Responsibilities

- Perform and interpret nuclear medicine investigations, including PET-CT, SPECT-CT, and other relevant imaging studies, as per available facilities and qualifications.

- Supervise and report nuclear medicine procedures and diagnostic studies.

- Evaluate patients and correlate imaging findings with clinical history and other investigations.

- Participate in nuclear medicine therapies, including radioisotope-based treatments, as applicable.

- Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols, patient preparation guidelines, and quality standards.

- Coordinate with referring clinicians, radiologists, oncologists, and other specialists for appropriate patient management.

- Maintain accurate patient records, reports, and clinical documentation.





- Ensure compliance with applicable AERB regulations and institutional protocols.

- Participate in departmental meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.

- Support the training and guidance of technical staff and contribute to departmental development.

Qualifications

- MD/DNB in Nuclear Medicine from a recognized institution.

- Valid registration with the relevant medical council.

- Eligibility to practice nuclear medicine in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
