Job Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Architect with 1 year of professional experience to join our team in Mysore. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of architectural design, building planning, technical drawings, and project coordination.

This role offers an opportunity to work on architectural projects, develop design skills, collaborate with experienced professionals, and gain practical exposure to the planning and execution of building projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Architectural Design: Assist in developing architectural concepts, building layouts, floor plans, elevations, and sections based on project requirements.
- Preparation of Drawings: Prepare and modify architectural drawings, working drawings, and detailed construction drawings.
- Software Proficiency: Use AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or other relevant architectural design software to prepare drawings and 3D models.
- 3D Modelling and Visualization: Develop 3D models, renders, and visual presentations to communicate architectural design concepts effectively.
- Site Coordination: Visit project sites when required to understand site conditions, verify measurements, and ensure that work aligns with approved drawings.
- Design Development: Assist senior architects in developing design concepts, selecting materials, and refining layouts according to project requirements.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain architectural drawings,



design documents, project specifications, and other technical records.
- Coordination with Other Teams: Coordinate with civil engineers, structural consultants, interior designers, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Building Regulations: Assist in ensuring that architectural designs comply with applicable building regulations, local development rules, and project requirements.
- Revisions and Modifications: Incorporate feedback from senior architects, clients, and consultants into drawings and design proposals.
- Project Support: Assist in monitoring project progress and resolving drawing-related issues during construction.
- Material and Design Research: Research suitable building materials, finishes, design trends, and architectural solutions based on project needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in an architectural firm or a similar role.
- Valuable working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, V-Ray, or other 3D modelling and rendering tools is preferred.
- Understanding of architectural drawings,



floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
- Basic knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and architectural standards.
- Good visualization, design, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet project deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required.

Compensation and Benefits
