Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Assembly Engineer to manage mechanical assembly activities, ensure product quality, and achieve production targets as per engineering drawings, technical specifications, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out mechanical assembly of machines, equipment, and components as per engineering drawings and assembly procedures.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Ensure proper fitting, alignment, adjustment, and installation of mechanical components.
- Coordinate with the production, design, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve assembly-related issues.
- Inspect assembled components and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor assembly progress and ensure timely completion of production targets.
- Identify assembly defects and support troubleshooting and corrective actions.
- Maintain proper records of assembly activities,



material usage, and inspection reports.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain 5S standards in the assembly area.
- Support machine testing, trial runs, and final inspection before dispatch, wherever required.

Required Skills
- Knowledge of mechanical assembly and fitting practices.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with tools, measuring instruments, and assembly equipment.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Positive coordination, communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of quality and safety standards.

Preferred Experience Experience in machinery manufacturing, heavy engineering, industrial equipment, or mechanical fabrication and assembly will be preferred.

As per industry standards and candidate experience.
