Role & responsibilities

- Customer Engagement & Sales:
- Greet walk-in customers warmly, assess their preferences (bridal, daily wear, or gifting), and guide them through suitable collections.
- Explain product specifications clearly, including gold purity (hallmarking), gross/net weight, stone 4Cs (for diamonds), and making charges.
- Achieve daily, monthly, and individual/store sales targets.
- Billing & Transactions:
- Calculate accurate pricing based on the days live gold/metal rates, wastage, and discounts.
- Handle customer billings, old-gold exchange valuations (in coordination with gemologists/store managers), and enrollment in gold savings schemes.
- Showroom & Stock Management:
- Reconcile daily opening and closing stock for assigned counters.
- Ensure proper, secure, and attractive visual merchandising of jewelry displays.
- Maintain showroom cleanliness and assist with inventory restocking.

- Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
- Follow up with potential buyers for festive offers, new collections, and special occasions.
- Provide after-sales service details such as cleaning, resizing, or warranty policies.





Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: Minimum 12th Pass or Bachelors degree (depending on the brand/showroom tier).
- Experience: 1 to 5+ years of retail sales experience, ideally within fine jewelry, luxury retail, or high-value customer segments.

- Core Skills:
- Solid communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of gold hallmarking, diamonds, gemstones, and point-of-sale (POS) billing software.
- Patience and finesse when handling high-value or bridal purchase decisions.
- Neat, professional grooming and a customer-centric attitude. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
- Working Conditions: Full-time store hours, typically including weekends and festival peak seasons (with a weekly off on a weekday)
