We are looking for an experienced Java Backend + DevOps Engineer with 3–9 years of experience in developing scalable backend applications and managing cloud-native deployments. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud infrastructure.

The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing robust backend services, implementing event-driven architectures, automating deployment processes, and ensuring application scalability, reliability, and performance.

- Core Java & Backend Development: Strong proficiency in Core Java, object-oriented programming, multithreading, collections, and exception handling.
- Spring Boot & Microservices: Extensive experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
- Web Technologies: Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Database Management: Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL, including query optimization and performance tuning.
- ORM & Persistence: Strong knowledge of Hibernate, JPA, or OpenJPA.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, build automation, deployment automation, and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment and management.
- Cloud Technologies: Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS,



including relevant compute, networking, storage, and monitoring services.
- Messaging & Event-Driven Architecture: Experience with Apache Kafka, IBM MQ, or similar message-broker technologies.
- API Management & Integration: Familiarity with API gateways, service integration, authentication, and legacy system integrations.
- Monitoring & Logging: Experience with application monitoring, centralized logging, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.
- Version Control & Agile: Proficiency with Git and experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments.
- Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Core Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices to support business requirements.
- Implement event-driven systems using Kafka, MQ, or other messaging technologies.
- Design and optimize database queries, transactions, and persistence layers for Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, testing, and deployment.
- Containerize applications using Docker and deploy, manage, and troubleshoot workloads in Kubernetes environments.
- Deploy and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS, ensuring scalability, availability, security, and performance.




- Implement infrastructure and deployment automation using appropriate DevOps tools and practices.
- Monitor application health, investigate production incidents, and resolve performance and deployment issues.
- Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and operations teams to improve release quality and operational efficiency.
- Follow secure coding practices, participate in code reviews, and maintain technical documentation.
- Participate in Agile/SCRUM ceremonies, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience supporting production-grade Java applications and cloud infrastructure.
- Understanding of distributed systems, system design, application security, and high-availability architectures.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix commands, shell scripting, networking fundamentals, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or AWS CloudWatch.
