We are looking for an enthusiastic IT Infrastructure Support Engineer to support the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure, including desktops, servers, networking devices, and related systems at client locations.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, servers, and IT peripherals.
- Provide basic support for Windows operating systems, software installation, and troubleshooting.
- Assist with LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and firewall connectivity issues.
- Support server installation, configuration, monitoring, and routine maintenance.
- Assist with Microsoft 365, user account management, and basic access-related issues.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems and escalate complex issues.
- Assist in IT infrastructure projects, including server room setup, rack installation, and equipment commissioning.
- Perform preventive maintenance and ensure systems are functioning properly.
- Maintain service reports, installation records, asset details, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with senior engineers and customers to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Follow IT security procedures, backup practices, and company service standards.
- Visit client locations as required for installation and technical support.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS, desktop and laptop troubleshooting.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and WAN.
- Basic knowledge of servers, storage, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory concepts is an advantage.
- Good troubleshooting, communication, and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel to client locations and learn recent technologies.
