Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented IT Sales Manager for sales and business development. The candidate will be responsible for visiting government departments, corporate offices, educational institutions, and other potential clients to generate current business opportunities, promote IT products and services, build strong customer relationships, and achieve sales targets.

The candidate should have good knowledge of IT products and services, government departments, corporate offices, and client acquisition through direct field visits.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular field visits to government departments, corporate offices, PSUs, educational institutions, and other potential customers.
- Generate new leads and identify business opportunities through direct meetings, networking, and referrals.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and decision-makers.
- Promote and sell IT products and services, including computers, laptops, printers, servers, networking equipment’s, CCTV, biometric devices, software, power equipment’s ,VC equipment’s and IT support services, as applicable.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable IT solutions.
- Arrange client meetings, product demonstrations, and sales presentations.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial offers for customers.
- Follow up with prospective and existing clients to convert leads into sales.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop new customer accounts and maintain long-term business relationships.




- Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, product delivery, installation, and after-sales support.
- Maintain daily field visit reports, customer databases, and sales activity records.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Travel regularly within the assigned territory for business development and client meetings.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Graduate in any discipline; a degree in IT, Computer Science, or Business Administration is preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in IT sales, field sales, or business development.
- Knowledge of IT products, hardware, software, networking, and related services.
- Understanding of government departments, corporate offices, and institutional customers.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to generate leads, develop new accounts, and close sales.
- Proficiency in MS Office, email, and basic sales reporting.
- Willingness to travel regularly for fieldwork.
- A valid driving licence and personal vehicle are preferred, depending on company policy.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be confident, proactive, and comfortable with field sales. The candidate must be capable of independently visiting clients, identifying business opportunities, explaining IT products and services, and developing strong relationships with government and corporate customers. Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
