Job Purpose To deliver prescribed meals directly to admitted patients at the right time, at the right temperature, and with the highest level of cleanliness and empathy.

Key Responsibilities

- Tray Loading & Transport: Load packed, labeled meals onto specialized IPD food trollies and transport them securely from the main kitchen to assigned hospital floors.
- Bedside Meal Service: Deliver trays directly to patient rooms. Verify the patient's name, bed number, and diet tag before serving to ensure zero dietary errors.
- Patient Assistance: Assist patients with setting up their overbed tables, opening food containers, and arranging cutlery as needed.
- Clearance & Cleanup: Collect empty trays, used dishes, and leftovers promptly after meal times, returning them to the canteen dishwashing area.
- Infection Control & Hygiene: Maintain strict personal hygiene, wash hands frequently, and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like hairnets, gloves, masks, and clean uniforms as mandated by hospital rules.
- Feedback Reporting: Inform the supervisor immediately if a patient refuses a meal, reports an issue with the food,



or has an empty tray left over from a previous shift.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (10th/12th Pass). A basic certificate in food service or hospitality is a plus.
- Experience: 0–2 years of experience in a hotel, restaurant, or hospital environment. Freshers with a service mindset are often welcomed.
- Core Competencies:
- Polite, empathetic, and patient-centric communication.
- Basic understanding of why matching the right diet to the right patient is critical.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and push heavy food carts for long hours.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: ₹11,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
