About the Role

AIIENS Campus is seeking an experienced IoT & Robotics Mentor to guide students in the Internet of Things (IoT), robotics, embedded systems, sensor integration, and automation. The mentor will help students develop practical skills in designing connected devices, programming microcontrollers, building robotic systems, and implementing intelligent automation solutions through real-world projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach IoT fundamentals, connected devices, and communication protocols.
- Guide students in programming microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi.
- Provide practical training in C, C++, Python, and embedded programming.
- Introduce students to sensors, actuators, motors, and hardware interfacing.
- Explain IoT communication protocols such as MQTT, HTTP, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.
- Guide students in connecting IoT devices to cloud platforms and monitoring systems.
- Teach robotics fundamentals, including kinematics, motion control, and robot components.
- Guide students in developing robotic systems using motors, motor drivers, and sensor feedback.
- Introduce students to robotic automation, obstacle avoidance, and basic autonomous navigation.
- Explain the integration of IoT, robotics, and embedded systems for smart applications.
- Guide students in troubleshooting hardware, firmware, and communication issues.




- Mentor students in developing practical IoT and robotics projects.
- Review student projects and provide constructive technical feedback.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of IoT concepts and robotics fundamentals.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and/or Python programming.
- Practical experience with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of sensors, actuators, microcontrollers, and hardware interfacing.
- Understanding of communication protocols such as MQTT, HTTP, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
- Familiarity with robotics components, motor control, and automation.
- Knowledge of embedded systems and basic electronics.
- Familiarity with IoT cloud platforms and device connectivity.
- Robust analytical, communication, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Minimum 3+ years of relevant IoT, robotics, embedded systems, or automation experience.
- Experience developing and implementing IoT or robotics projects.
- Familiarity with ROS/ROS 2, robotic simulation, or autonomous robotics is an advantage.
- Experience with cloud-connected devices and real-time monitoring systems is preferred.
- Relevant certifications in IoT, robotics, embedded systems, or automation are an advantage.
- Previous mentoring, teaching, or technical training experience is preferred.
