- Assist an Arabic-speaking patient in communicating with doctors, psychologists, nurses, and other staff.
- Translate conversations between Arabic and English accurately.
- Support communication during consultations, therapy sessions, and daily activities.
- Help the patient understand instructions, appointments, and routine communication.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
- Ensure clear and respectful communication between the patient and the care team.
Requirements
- Fluency in both Arabic and English, including speaking and understanding.
- Positive communication and listening skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a supportive attitude.
- Ability to handle sensitive conversations with professionalism.
- Previous experience in translation or healthcare settings will be preferred.
- Knowledge of mental healthcare terminology will be an advantage.
