We are looking for a Senior Interior Site Engineer who is passionate about interior execution, site management, quality control, and team coordination to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Supervision: Manage and supervise day-to-day interior execution activities at residential and commercial project sites.
- Project Planning: Prepare site schedules, monitor project progress, and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Drawing Coordination: Read and interpret interior design drawings, working drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Execution Management: Oversee civil modifications, carpentry, modular furniture installation, electrical works, plumbing, false ceilings, painting, and finishing activities.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate with contractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, vendors, and other site personnel.
- Quality Control: Ensure all interior works meet company standards, approved designs, technical specifications, and client expectations.
- Material Management: Monitor material requirements, inventory, deliveries, and usage to minimize wastage and project delays.
- Cost Control: Track site expenses, labour costs, material consumption, and variations against project estimates.
- Client Coordination: Provide regular project updates, address site-related concerns,
and coordinate with clients to ensure smooth execution.
- Progress Reporting: Maintain daily site reports, work progress records, labour attendance, material records, and project documentation.
- Problem Solving: Identify site execution challenges and implement practical solutions to maintain project quality and timelines.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure workers follow appropriate site safety practices and maintain a clean and organized working environment.
- Final Handover: Conduct snag inspections, coordinate rectification work, and ensure projects are completed according to approved specifications before handover.
Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in interior site execution and project management.
- Strong knowledge of residential and commercial interior works.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and execution plans.
- Good communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet project deadlines.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel between project sites in Chennai and Kanchipuram, as required.
Salary and Benefits Monthly Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹40,000, based on experience and skills.
