- Handle Import RFQs and prepare competitive freight quotations.
- Obtain and negotiate rates with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and overseas agents.
- Ensure accurate freight costing while maintaining targeted profit margins.
- Analyze market trends, freight rates, and competitor pricing.
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams for timely pricing support.
- Maintain pricing records, rate sheets, and MIS reports.
- Support the Sales Team in converting inquiries into confirmed business.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and partners.
- Ensure timely response to customer inquiries and rate requests.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Import Freight Forwarding and Pricing.
- Excellent negotiation and commercial skills.
- Good understanding of shipping lines, carrier rates, and market trends.
- Robust communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MIS reporting.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple inquiries efficiently
