Role Description This is a full-time / part-time remote role for an IB MYP / DP | CIE | Edexcel Biology Faculty member. The faculty member will plan and deliver engaging Biology lessons aligned with international curricula such as IB MYP and DP, CIE, and Edexcel, using online teaching platforms and digital resources. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching live online classes, assigning and assessing homework and projects, and providing detailed feedback to support student progress.

The role involves designing exam strategies, conducting doubt-clearing sessions, and organizing practice tests to prepare students for school exams and international board assessments.



The faculty member will collaborate with mentors and academic coordinators, maintain accurate student performance records, and communicate regularly with learners and families to support academic and personal development.

Qualifications

- Strong subject-matter expertise in Biology, including familiarity with IB MYP/DP, CIE, and Edexcel curricula.
- Demonstrated skills in lesson planning, curriculum alignment, and designing assessments and practice tests.
- Proficiency in online teaching tools, digital classroom platforms, and use of multimedia resources for instruction.
- Effective communication, mentoring, and student engagement skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Experience in exam preparation, study strategies, and guiding students through high-stakes board and entrance examinations.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with reliability in a remote, full time teaching environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or a closely related field; teaching certifications in IB, CIE, or Edexcel are an advantage.
- Prior experience teaching middle and high school students in international curricula or competitive exam contexts is preferred.
