Role & responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the plant HR/IR team, set daily targets, and manage performance reviews.
- Recruitment &
- Staffing: Manage manpower planning, shift-wise staffing, recruitment, and onboarding for plant operations.
- Statutory Compliance: Enforce labor laws and factory rules, maintain registers, and manage internal/external audits.
- Industrial Relations: Maintain union relations, represent management in wage negotiations, and prevent labor disputes.
- Grievances &
- Discipline: Handle worker grievances, execute disciplinary procedures/domestic inquiries, and manage exits/settlements.
- Welfare &
- Facilities: Supervise plant amenities (canteen, transport, medical) and drive safety/engagement events.
- HR Operations &
- HRMS: Oversee payroll inputs, leave/attendance tracking, and performance appraisals via HRMS.
