Position Duties And Responsibilities AISC teachers are responsible for ensuring that all instructional and assessment practices, curriculum development, classroom management, and professional growth align with and contribute to the School s Mission, Core Values, and Vision for the AISC Learner. Duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

- Designing and delivering a rigorous, engaging, and conceptually connected Social Studies IB or AP Economics curriculum that develops students economic thinking, analytical skills, and understanding of real-world issues. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to inquiry-based learning, authentic applications, and critical analysis of economic systems and decision-making. Knowledge of the C3 Framework for Social Studies and experience teaching additional advanced-level social studies courses is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

AISC seeks faculty with appropriate experiences that have helped them develop their knowledge, skills, and talents:

1. At least 4-5 years of relevant experience working as a science teacher in a similar capacity
2. Experience teaching IB DP and / or AP Economics, preferred.
3. Experience teaching other advanced level social studies subjects, highly desirable.
4. Valid Teaching credential
5. A record of continued skilled growth
6. Experience working with English as Additional Language learners
7. Experience teaching and learning in a technology-integrated environment
8. Experience in leading co-curricular activities
