Core Responsibilities

- Team Leadership &
- Briefing:

Conduct daily staff briefings, assign room sections and duties to floor or public area attendants, and monitor productivity.

- Quality Control &

- Inspections:

Perform thorough checks of guest rooms, VIP setups, corridors, lobbies, and back-of-house areas against brand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

- Cross-Departmental Coordination: Communicate constantly with the Front Office regarding room status, early/late check-ins, and VIP arrivals, while logging maintenance requests with engineering.

- Inventory &

- Resource Management:

Track and control the stock of linens, guest amenities, cleaning chemicals, and machinery to minimize waste.

- Guest Relations: Handle special requests, lost and found inquiries, and resolve guest complaints promptly and discreetly.

- Training &

- Safety:





Train current and existing staff on luxury cleaning techniques, chemical safety, and health and safety regulations

- Qualifications &

- Requirements

- Experience: Minimum of 2 to 5 years in housekeeping operations within luxury hotels, resorts, or upscale hospitality properties, with prior supervisory experience.

- Education: High school diploma or Grade 12 (Matric) required; a degree or diploma in hotel management or hospitality is preferred.

- Skills: Strong leadership, sharp attention to detail, effective communication, time management, and basic computer/PMS (Property Management System) literacy.
