A Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and preparing guest rooms and bathrooms to ensure a clean, comfortable, hygienic, and welcoming workplace for hotel guests. The attendant must follow hotel cleanliness standards and provide excellent guest service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards.

- Make beds and change bed linen, pillowcases, and towels.

- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, toilets, showers, and washbasins.

- Dust and polish furniture, mirrors, windows, and other surfaces.

- Vacuum carpets and mop floors.

- Replenish guest room amenities, toiletries, drinking water, and other supplies.

- Check room facilities, lights, air conditioning, and other equipment, and report any defects.

- Report lost and found items to the housekeeping supervisor.

- Inform the supervisor about maintenance issues and damaged items.

- Follow hotel procedures for handling guest laundry and guest requests.

- Maintain cleanliness in housekeeping pantries and storage areas.

- Follow health, safety, hygiene, and security procedures.





- Respect guest privacy and handle guest belongings carefully.

- Complete assigned rooms within the required time.

- Report room status updates to the housekeeping supervisor.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Good cleaning and organizational skills.

- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

- Attention to detail and personal hygiene.

- Good communication and teamwork.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.

- Honest, reliable, polite, and professional behavior.

- Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred but not always required.

Key Performance Standards

- Guest room cleanliness and presentation.

- Proper bed-making and bathroom cleaning.

- Timely completion of assigned rooms.

- Correct replenishment of room amenities.

- Guest satisfaction and compliance with hotel standards.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
