Job Summary The Hotel General Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations, financial performance, guest satisfaction, and team management of the hotel. The role ensures smooth functioning of all departments, maintains brand and service standards, drives revenue and profitability, and ensures compliance with company policies and applicable statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the overall operations of the hotel, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Banquets, Sales, Finance, Engineering, Security, and Human Resources.
- Develop and implement operational plans, business strategies, and departmental targets to achieve revenue, profitability, and guest satisfaction objectives.
- Monitor hotel performance, occupancy, Average Daily Rate (ADR), Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR), operating expenses, and profitability.
- Ensure exceptional guest service standards across all departments and personally handle major guest complaints and escalations.
- Lead, guide, and supervise Heads of Departments (HODs), ensuring accountability, effective coordination, and achievement of departmental goals.
- Review financial reports, budgets, payroll costs, procurement expenses, and operational expenditures to maintain effective cost control.
- Drive sales and marketing initiatives, corporate business development, banquet and event sales, and guest retention strategies.
- Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, company policies, fire and life safety standards, food safety requirements, labour laws, and other applicable statutory regulations.
- Monitor manpower planning, recruitment, employee performance, training, discipline, and staff engagement in coordination with HR.
- Conduct regular HOD meetings, operational reviews,



performance evaluations, and follow-up on action plans.
- Ensure proper maintenance of hotel facilities, rooms, restaurant, banquet spaces, lawn, gym, equipment, and other property assets.
- Establish effective systems for inventory management, purchasing, vendor relations, revenue control, and prevention of financial or operational losses.
- Review guest feedback, online reviews, service recovery cases, and departmental performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure the hotel maintains a skilled working environment, operational discipline, and consistent service quality.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality Management.
- 8–12 years of hotel operations experience, including 3–5 years in a senior leadership or General Manager role.
- Experience managing hotel operations, revenue, budgets, and departmental teams.
- Strong understanding of hotel PMS, POS, financial reporting, and hospitality operations.
- Experience in managing hotel openings, expansions, or operational transitions will be preferred.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
