: Hip-Hop Jewellery Designer

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Hip-Hop Jewellery Designer with experience in designing bold, customised, and premium diamond-studded jewellery. The candidate will be responsible for developing innovative designs for hip-hop chains, pendants, rings, bracelets, grills, and other statement jewellery pieces based on client specifications, market trends, and brand requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Design customised hip-hop jewellery, including diamond-studded chains, pendants, rings, bracelets, necklaces, and other statement pieces.
- Create unique designs featuring diamonds, gemstones, different metal finishes, and intricate stone settings.
- Develop 2D sketches and 3D jewellery models using professional CAD software.
- Convert client concepts, reference images, and design briefs into practical jewellery designs.
- Work on customised name pendants, logo pendants, iced-out jewellery, Cuban link chains, and other hip-hop jewellery styles.
- Ensure proper diamond placement, stone sizing, setting feasibility, and overall design proportions.
- Coordinate with production, CAD, casting, setting, and polishing teams to ensure accurate execution of designs.
- Modify designs based on client feedback, production requirements, and commercial feasibility.
- Research international hip-hop jewellery trends, celebrity-inspired designs, and emerging market preferences.
- Develop design variations according to customer budgets, metal specifications, diamond quality, and product requirements.
- Prepare detailed design files, technical specifications,



and production-ready CAD models.
- Ensure designs meet quality standards while balancing creativity, durability, and manufacturing feasibility.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma or degree in Jewellery Design, Product Design, or a related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in jewellery designing, particularly in diamond-studded or customised jewellery.
- Solid understanding of hip-hop jewellery styles, including iced-out pendants, Cuban chains, statement rings, and customised pieces.
- Proficiency in jewellery CAD software such as Rhino, MatrixGold, JewelCAD, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of diamond shapes, sizes, stone setting techniques, precious metals, and jewellery manufacturing processes.
- Ability to interpret design references and create accurate 2D sketches and 3D models.
- Understanding of stone placement, metal weight, dimensions, and manufacturing feasibility.
- Strong creativity, visualisation skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple customised design projects.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates with experience designing hip-hop, iced-out, American-style, and customised diamond-studded jewellery will be preferred.
- Experience working with international clients or designing jewellery for the US market will be an advantage.
- A portfolio showcasing hip-hop jewellery designs, CAD models, and customised pendants is highly desirable.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
