Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced logistics leader to manage end-to-end logistics operations across India and the SAARC region. The role involves developing logistics strategies, optimizing transportation and warehousing costs, managing import operations, and ensuring timely and damage-free delivery of products.

Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, distribution, and import logistics.
- Develop logistics budgets, business plans, and cost-optimization strategies.
- Manage transportation networks, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs agents, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners.
- Optimize transportation routes, warehouse utilization, container planning, and freight costs.
- Ensure on-time product movement, shipping, and delivery across branches and customer locations.
- Oversee inventory accuracy, warehouse operations, reverse logistics, warranty returns, and damaged-product management.
- Manage international shipments and coordinate with domestic and overseas factories.




- Monitor logistics expenses against approved budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, internal policies, audits, and logistics procedures.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the logistics team while driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

- Graduate and Master's degree or equivalent.

Required Skills

- Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in logistics, transportation, distribution, or supply chain management.
- Robust knowledge of PAN India or Central logistics networks, warehouse management, freight operations, and import procedures.
- Proven experience in logistics cost optimization, vendor management, and large-scale logistics operations.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Working knowledge of SAP is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in the FMCD, consumer durables, home appliances, electronics, or manufacturing industry is preferred.
