Key Responsibilities

- Develop, configure, and customize Guidewire Policy Center applications.

- Write and maintain business logic using Gosu programming.

- Work on PCF screens, entities, type lists, data models, and Product Model configuration.

- Implement business rules, validations, underwriting rules, and policy lifecycle transactions.

- Develop and maintain integrations with external applications using REST APIs, SOAP services, and messaging.

- Perform unit testing, debugging, defect fixing, and performance troubleshooting.

- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other developers to deliver quality solutions.

- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile development activities.

- Support application enhancements, deployments, and production issues as required.

Mandatory Skills

- Hands-on Guidewire Policy Center development experience.

- Strong knowledge of Gosu programming.

- Experience with PCF configuration and Policy Center customization.

- Knowledge of entities,



data models, type lists, and Product Model.

- Understanding of policy transactions and insurance business processes.

- Good problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Valuable-to-Have Skills

- Guidewire Cloud experience.

- REST APIs, SOAP, plugins, messaging, and batch processes.

- Java, SQL, Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD tools.

- P&C; insurance domain knowledge.

- Experience with Guidewire upgrades, integrations, or migrations.

Candidate Requirements

- 5–12 years of relevant experience, including hands-on Guidewire Policy Center development.

- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

- Senior candidates should ideally have experience in technical design, code reviews, and mentoring junior developers.
