Qualification

M.Sc. Geology / Applied Geology or relevant qualification.

Experience in coal sampling, sub-sampling, and coal quality monitoring preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct coal sampling and sub-sampling as per FSA (Fuel Supply Agreement) requirements.

Supervise manpower involved in coal sampling, sample preparation, and quality monitoring.

Perform and coordinate coal quality testing, including Proximate Analysis, Ultimate Analysis, Total Moisture (TM), Inherent Moisture (IM), Ash, Volatile Matter (VM), and Gross Calorific Value (GCV).

Ensure accuracy and reliability of laboratory testing and maintain quality assurance standards.

Compile analytical data, prepare test reports, and maintain proper documentation.

Support research activities, technical assessments,



and project execution related to coal quality.

Coordinate with laboratory teams, operations, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with specified coal quality parameters.

Required Skills

Practical knowledge of coal sampling, sub-sampling, and laboratory testing procedures.

Understanding of FSA requirements and coal quality parameters.

Manpower supervision, data analysis, report preparation, and documentation skills.

Robust attention to detail and commitment to testing accuracy.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
