Job Summary

SS Mahindra is looking for an experienced and result-oriented General Manager – Service to lead and manage our service operations at Vazhayila, Trivandrum. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent customer-handling abilities, and extensive experience in automobile service management.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee and manage the overall service department operations.
- Achieve service revenue, profitability, customer satisfaction, and productivity targets.
- Lead and motivate service managers, workshop staff, service advisors, technicians, and other team members.
- Monitor workshop efficiency, technician productivity, labour sales, and vehicle turnaround time.
- Ensure high standards of service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor service retention, repeat business, customer feedback, and CSI performance.
- Ensure proper implementation of company policies, OEM standards, and service procedures.
- Monitor spare parts coordination, warranty processes, job card management, and workshop expenses.
- Analyse operational reports and implement strategies to improve business performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, operational procedures, and company guidelines.





Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Extensive experience in automobile after-sales service management.
- Previous experience in a senior leadership role, such as Service Head, General Manager – Service, or equivalent.
- Solid knowledge of workshop operations, service revenue management, customer relationship management, and team leadership.
- Experience in handling service targets, profitability, manpower planning, and operational performance.
- Mahindra dealership experience will be an added advantage.
