- Having knowledge in maintenance and troubleshooting of AC & DC drives. , HT & LT motors and its control centers, electrical switchgears, weigh feeders, vibrofeeders, rotary kiln slip rings, DG sets, and transformers.
- Maintenance of Distribution Transformer, H.T. motors, L.T. motors, switchboard, panels and its accessories in Steel Melting Shop Division.
- Handling the shift independently and attending the troubl shooting related to the SMS. Having hand knowledge of power and control circuit drawing of L.T. and H.T. equipments.

Both preventive and break-down maintenance of all line equipments of steel melting shop.

- Keen Understanding of the ISO-9001:2000&14001 quality system & TPM, Five Sigma. Should have exposure of working large integrated Steel Plant.

- Should have Relevant Experience In Electrical Maintainence In Steel Melting Shop (LRF, EAF, VOD). Exposed to HT/LT, Motors, AC & DC Drives,Circuit, Breakers, Prevention & Breakdown
- maintainence, 5S, TPM, Etc.

Function Maintenance of AC/DC Drives, PLCs etc., Erection, Commissioning, maintenance & testing of LT/HT switch-gears, Sub-stations, Generators, Material handling, Maintenance of Heavy duty ports RTG & RMQC Cranes, Steel plant EOT cranes. Energy Management activity :-

- Supports to depts. for measure/calculate the energy efficiency of various electrical system like Transformers/Motors etc. & Energy saving projects. Internal Auditor for ISO 50001 Energy Management system.

Auditing :–

- Auditing various electrical installations and participated in various investigation committees on breakdown and accidents in plant. Inspection/auditing of cranes as internal auditor.
- Co-ordinate & arrangement of Third party inspection, certification of cranes across all plant
- Managerial Responsibilities :-
- Co-ordination with electricity board/govt. offices for billing & inspector for approval. - HT motors Health Diagnostic Testing & Condition Monitoring : -
- HT Motors & Generators Health Diagnostic & Condition monitoring facility developed & established for Essar complex by setup various specialized testing facility like tan delta & C, step voltage DD etc..




- More than 450 HT motors centralize testing data maintaining, analyzing and interpreting, and suggesting recommended action for overhauling, rewinding and monitoring.
- Trouble shooting and analysis of critical motors related problems in various plants like 11KV,4.6MW motors of sinter,5.6MW synchronous motor, 325KW of skip charging motor etc.
- Centralized Motor repair Workshop :- Established & handling Motor overhauling workshop for AC/DC & HT Motors overhauling of Essar/Tata steel. – Highest capacity 2.9MW HT motor & 600KW LT slip- ring motor overhauled, motor leads brazing, motor Insulation quality improvement testing. – Formulate interplant standard for ensuring quality work of rewinding by external agency.
