Role Description As a Game Designer (Roblox) at Flecks Labs, you will design core gameplay systems, mechanics, and features tailored to the Roblox platform. You will create level layouts and progression flows, define game rules, and work closely with developers and artists to implement and iterate on designs based on player feedback and analytics.

Daily work includes writing design documents, building and testing prototypes, balancing game economy and difficulty, and refining UX to improve retention and monetization. This is a full-time remote role,



requiring close collaboration with a distributed team through online tools and regular communication.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Game Design and Level Design, with experience defining mechanics, systems, and player progression.
- Hands-on experience in Game Development on UGC platforms such as Roblox, including prototyping and iterative design.
- Understanding of design principles for Console and Mobile Games, including controls, UX, and optimization for different devices.
- Proficiency with Roblox Studio and Lua scripting, or strong willingness and ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to use player data, metrics, and feedback to refine designs and improve engagement.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create concise design documentation.
- Collaborative mindset and comfort working in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
- Prior experience shipping at least one game or substantial game feature; experience with live-ops or updates is a plus.
