Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Furniture Designer & Production Supervisor to manage furniture designing, technical drawings, vendor coordination, and production supervision. The candidate will ensure that furniture is manufactured according to approved designs, dimensions, materials, finishes, quality standards, and delivery timelines.

The role requires regular visits to production units and vendor factories across Delhi-NCR to monitor production progress, inspect quality, and ensure timely delivery of furniture orders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Furniture Designing & Technical Drawings

- Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models, and detailed furniture shop drawings.
- Design customized and modular furniture as per client requirements.
- Prepare technical drawings with accurate dimensions, materials, finishes, hardware, and construction details.
- Design wardrobes, cabinets, tables, workstations, chairs, storage units, and other interior furniture.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, interior designers, and production teams to finalize designs.
- Revise drawings according to client feedback and site requirements.
- Ensure all drawings and specifications are approved before production begins.

2. Production Supervision & Quality Control

- Supervise furniture manufacturing at factories and vendor locations.
- Ensure production follows approved drawings, dimensions, materials, and finish samples.
- Inspect furniture for quality, workmanship, hardware fitting, finishing,



and dimensional accuracy.
- Identify production defects and coordinate corrective actions.
- Monitor carpentry, fabrication, assembly, polishing, finishing, and installation activities.
- Maintain quality standards throughout the production process.

3. Vendor Coordination & Order Tracking

- Coordinate with vendors, carpenters, fabricators, production teams, and suppliers.
- Track furniture orders from drawing approval and raw material procurement to production, inspection, and dispatch.
- Follow up on production schedules and ensure timely delivery.
- Identify delays, material shortages, and production issues and report them to management.
- Maintain regular communication with vendors to ensure smooth execution of orders.

4. Site Visits & Installation Coordination

- Visit production units, vendor factories, and project sites across Delhi-NCR.
- Verify site measurements and ensure furniture fits the approved layout.
- Coordinate furniture installation and resolve design or execution-related issues.
- Ensure completed furniture meets client expectations and project specifications.

5. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain updated drawings, material specifications, finish samples, and production records.
- Prepare production status reports and track order completion.
- Coordinate with management regarding design approvals,



quality issues, and delivery schedules.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and furniture design software such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of furniture construction, modular furniture, hardware, materials, and finishes.
- Knowledge of technical drawings, shop drawings, and production processes.
- Experience in vendor management, production supervision, and quality inspection.
- Good coordination, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and dimensions.
- Willingness to travel to factories and project sites across Delhi-NCR.

Candidate Requirements

- Education: Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Furniture Design, Product Design, or a related field.
- Experience: Relevant experience in furniture designing and production supervision.
- Industry Preference: Furniture manufacturing, modular furniture, interior fit-outs, or turnkey interior projects.
- Location: Candidates comfortable working from Sahibabad and travelling across Delhi-NCR.

Ideal Candidate: A practical, detail-oriented professional who can handle both furniture design and on-ground production supervision, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely project completion. Pay: Up to ₹45,000.00 per month
